Driving Quality Through Innovative System Reliability Solutions

Our Mission

At Sakura Software Solutions (3S), our mission is to help organizations move from reactive troubleshooting toward proactive, data-driven reliability management.

We believe software quality and system reliability should be measurable, predictable, and continuously improved throughout the entire development and operational lifecycle.

Our Story

Spending his career at Nokia Bell Labs, Kazu was immersed in software quality assurance practices and developed BRACE, a first-of-its-kind software reliability tool still used companywide at Nokia. Seeing opportunities for further innovation, he founded Sakura Software Solutions (3S) with two former Nokia colleagues, Rashid and Rory. 3S introduced STAR, an enhanced tool for zero-touch automation of defect prediction and corrective actions with advanced visualization.

Later, 3S introduced FUSION, a cloud-based platform for integrated software and hardware system reliability. Today, through collaboration with experts from industry and academia, 3S continues to advance STAR and FUSION, helping organizations improve software and system reliability in real-world applications.

What Is STAR?

STAR™ is a cloud-based software quality intelligence platform that enables predictive, data-driven release governance for modern development teams.

Built on proprietary, patent-pending technology, STAR applies advanced analytics and EVR (Escape Velocity Rate) to surface emerging quality risks early in the development lifecycle. This enables teams to shift from reactive QA to proactive decision-making, improving release confidence and reducing late-stage defects.

From early development through deployment, STAR continuously analyzes defect trends and delivery signals to help teams understand system stability, prioritize corrective actions, and manage software quality at scale.

What Is FUSION?

Awarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF)

FUSION™ is a system reliability intelligence platform that unifies software and hardware reliability analysis into a single, integrated environment.

Built on proprietary, patent-pending technology, FUSION is designed for engineering, QA, and reliability teams across aerospace, automotive, defense, telecom, industrial systems, and medical devices, FUSION enables data-driven system-level decision-making across the entire lifecycle.

At its core is an interactive graphical modeling environment that allows teams to construct and analyze system architectures. By combining visual reliability modeling with predictive analytics, FUSION helps organizations anticipate system behavior, identify failure risks, and improve operational reliability before deployment.
